Dr. Lawson-Boucher attended Rutgers University’s New Jersey Medical School and graduated in 1999. He completed his post-graduate training at Greater Baltimore Medical Center/Johns Hopkins Medicine. He is board certified in anesthesiology by the American Board of Anesthesiology. Earlier in his career, Dr. Lawson-Boucher was a Navy Anesthesiologist for ten years, during which time he was honored with several military awards. Also trained in Naval Surface & Special Warfare, Dr. Lawson-Boucher maintains active memberships with the Florida Society of Anesthesiologists, the American Society of Anesthesiologists, the Collier County Relief Organization, the California Society of Anesthesiologists, and the Society for Ambulatory Anesthesia.
Voted Best Anesthesiologist in Florida in 2013 by HealthTap, Dr. Lawson-Boucher volunteers with the Neighborhood Health Clinic in Naples, Florida, and with Collier County Community Emergency Response Teams. He speaks Japanese and Spanish in addition to English and credits his success to the training he received while serving in the Navy and his unwavering attention to detail. Dr. Lawson-Boucher also engages in continued medical education courses on malignant hyperthermia and residents’ training. He is an avid reader of The British Journal of Anesthesia and dedicates his spare time to learning languages and world traveling.
