Dallas, Texas – The International Association of HealthCare Professionals is pleased to welcome Maqbool A. Salam, MD, Radiologist, to their prestigious organization with his upcoming publication in The Leading Physicians of the World. He is a highly-trained and qualified radiologist with a vast expertise inall facets of his work, including musculoskeletal imaging and nuclear medicine. Dr. Salam has been practicing for over thirty years and is currently serving patients at Medical Imaging of Dallas in Lewisville and Arlington, Texas. The practice was established in 1976 and has grown into a well-rounded, 15-physician radiology group taking great pride in serving the DFW community. Specialties serviced include vascular and interventional Radiology, neuroradiology, Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Computed Tomography (CT), Positron Emission Tomography (PET), pediatric radiology, and ultrasound and mammography. Furthermore, Dr. Salam holds hospital privileges at the Lewisville Medical Center and the Medical Center of Arlington.
Dr. Salam attended The Madras Medical College in Chennai, India, and graduated with his medical degree in 1979. Upon relocating to the United States, he completed his pathology residency at Baylor College of Medicine, nuclear medicine residency and diagnostic radiology residency at Oregon Health and Science University, and body imaging fellowship at the University of Texas Southwestern/Parkland Health System. Dr. Salam received board certification in nuclear medicine from the American Board of Nuclear Medicine in 1987, as well as in radiology from the American Board of Radiology in 1991. He stays within the scope of his practice through his professional memberships with the American College of Radiology and the Radiological Society of North America. The recipient of the Best Doctor in Dallas Award from 2007 until 2010, Dr. Salam feels that his success is attributable to his perseverance. He dedicates his spare time to traveling.
