The gesture controlled ‘Smart Glasses’ receives huge support on Kickstarter

The backers have shown great enthusiasm towards the newly launched ‘Smart glasses’ named Camemory, on Kickstarter, designed by a man named Shawn Chen. The pair of smart glasses can be controlled by predefined hand gestures and has several functionalities besides protecting the eyes from dirt and sun rays.

 The innovative smart glasses allow the user to take pictures, record videos instantly with easy hand gestures while it can also be connected through the smartphone to control music and other applications.

The wearable technology is meant to keep hands free while performing several activities such as driving, exercising, dancing, attending a concert to make the daily lives easier. The glasses come with pre-loaded features such as Bluetooth connectivity, proximity sensors, LED light indicator among others.

The rechargeable lithium battery can run the device for up to 2 to 4 hours while the user also has an option to recharge the device with battery necklace for prolonged usage. The Camemory rechargeable battery digital necklace can be wrapped around the neck for another 8 hours of battery life.

The smart glasses can be connected to the smartphone via Bluetooth for controlling music and other applications. The user can adjust the volume of the music or shift to the next track with easy hand gestures, without having to touch the phone.
