The Donut Effect: An Inspiring Documentary on Mental Health launches Kickstarter Campaign!

Now Seeking Community Support via Kickstarter, This Documentary Aims to Break the Barrier of Perception & Understanding of Mental Health like Never Before!

The Donut Effect is an inspiring documentary created by Saket Kuberi from Malaysia and it is regarding the perception as well as the understanding of mental health. The director of this documentary, Saket has also been suffering from mental health himself and he is making this documentary from a sufferer’s perspective. Moreover, the documentary will also focus on the challenges as well as the discrimination along with other social issues faced by the patients.

In order to make this documentary possible, the director is currently seeking generous community support on the crowdfunding platform of Kickstarter and he is welcoming everyone to support this initiative. Moreover, the director will also be travelling across different parts of Asia in order to study the trends of similarities and differences on how people view and overcome mental health.

All funds raised through the Kickstarter campaign launched by Saket will go towards the purchase of equipment required for the shooting. Upon its completion, the director also aims to host screenings of the documentary in collaboration with his non-profit partner organizations.
