Manhattan’s Chaimi Studio has announced that they will be building a pop-up theme park of Boba Tea in New York called ‘The Boba Room’. The studio will be creating a massive 1600 square feet of wonderland replete with a gigantic blow-up bubble tea in the center. Moreover, the theme park will have access to some of the most wondrous Boba at its door. The Boba Room will replicate the typical Hong Kong and Taiwanese scenes and will revive the Asian culture in the Big Apple, New York City. In order to get this done, the company is seeking public support and has decided to raise funds on Kickstarter. The goal of this project is to raise $7,500 by Saturday April 22nd, 2017 and everyone is welcome to back it on Kickstarter.
The studio is seeking help to bring this exciting, multicultural and multi sensory experience into the lights of Manhattan. The room will consist of pure, dreamy boba tea wonderland replete with a decorative installation. Moreover, the room will be hosted by Open Space Gallery from April 22nd to May 6th on the Bowery at 355A.
The huge, blow-up bubble tea installation is another amazing feature of this room and its installation comes from a simple sentiment shared by Yanqiong Zeng and Iris Danlu Xing, the co-founders of Chaimi Food Studio. The co-founders thought that life would have been great if it occurred inside a cup bubble of tea and now they are going to bring this thought to reality.
All funds raised through this Kickstarter campaign will play a major role in bringing The Boba Room to reality. The funds will be used to buy materials needed to build this room that will help thousands of people learn about the rich Asian culture.
