New app innovators like Facebook and Google are set to win big in Asia, preparing incumbents for a sad retirement as their growth retards in Asia and lags. Indosat Ooredoo, Indonesia’s second largest telco provider, has become the company with strongest data revenue growth in the industry, from almost zero to 56.9% revenue growth in 2015. The business landscape is changing very fast and incumbent solutions are just not adapting fast enough. The worldwide enterprise applications market will hit $208 billion by 2020 and Asia is expected to eat a significant market share as replatforming and rebuilding of capacity in Asia’s top companies intensify.
