TAN BING’S ‘CHINA SALESMAN’ DOMINATES WORLD MARKETS AT THE 2017 AMERICAN FILM MARKET

“AMERICAN FILM MARKET 2017 // TRICOAST WORLDWIDE”
Highly anticipated fight scene between Steven Seagal and Mike Tyson has buyers scrambling to acquire action-pack thriller at this year’s American Film Market in Santa Monica, CA.

Los Angeles, CA – November 11, 2017 – TriCoast Worldwide and Chinese company, Golden God Video & Culture Company have reeled in buyers from around the world, begging for a sneak peak into Director Tan Bing’s $20 million USD action-packed film “CHINA SALESMAN”.

The film is co-financed by the Chinese conglomerate Dalian Wanda Group from six Oscar comedy, ‘La La Land’, Summit Entertainment’s ‘John Wick’, and Lionsgates’ ‘Power Rangers’. Alongside, “CHINA SALESMAN” is co-financed by TFK and China’s state-run, China Film Group.

Based on a true story, “CHINA SALESMAN” follows a skilled Chinese engineer, Yan Jian (Dong Xue Li), who travels to North Africa for a nationwide competition between technology companies. There, he discovers the corruption and conspiracy to gain ultimate control over Africa’s mineral sources.

That’s when the highly anticipated and awaited fight scene comes onto the screen, as the great mercenary, Lauder, played by Aikido sensation, Steven Seagal, and former general, Kabbah, played by former heavyweight champ, Mike Tyson.

The Hollywood Reporter’s UK correspondent, Alex Ritman was able to interview director Bing on Sunday American Film Market and Conferences held at the Loews Santa Monica Beach Hotel in Santa Monica, CA.

Headlining his article as “Steve Seagal and Mike Tyson’s ‘China Salesman’ Is the Most ‘AFM’ Film of AFM”, Ritman wrote, “A casual glance at the poster, however, reveals a couple of killer ingredients. Not only has director Tan Bing secured the services of AFM hero Steven Seagal as a legendary mercenary, but he’s landed former boxing champion Mike Tyson as a gun-toting army general. As if this wasn’t enough, the two square off in an eight-minute fight scene that pits Seagal’s lightning-fast palms against Tyson’s thunderous fists.”

Ritman concluded his Hollywood Reporter article by stating, “China Salesman and Tan Bing, we salute you.”

TriCoast Worldwide is also representing Bing’s new project, “FATAL CONTRACT”, featuring Jacky ZhaoBai Ling, and Xuan Miao.

“CHINA SALESMAN” contains a worldwide and extraordinary cast, including the lead of Dong Xue Li (“Sacrifice”, “The Wonderful Wedding”), Eriq Ebouaney (“Hitman”, “Transporter3”), Steven Seagal (“Above the Law”, “Under Siege”) and former heavyweight champ, Mike Tyson (“Rocky Balboa”, “The Hangover”).

Negotiations were conducted by Marcy Levitas Hamilton for TriCoast Worldwide and translated by TriCoast Worldwide’s Hengqing “Kat” Pan.

The “CHINA SALESMAN” trailer was introduced in June, collecting over 1,300,000 views as the world begged to get a sneak peak of the SEAGAL / TYSON fight.
