Take My Life, the latest studio album by award-winning singing couple Bernadette and Winston Charles, is out and now available for purchase.
The album contains a total of ten tracks that explore deeply spiritual themes and capture the soul and marvel of life in Christ.
“We are blessed to have this opportunity to inspire others to get to know Jesus,” says the couple of this latest musical effort.
Though Mr. and Mrs. Charles have done a wealth of recordings, most notably with The National Christian Choir, Take My Life is their first full-length studio album, and for this album, they have signed with Blue Artists LLC to produce and distribute it.
The couple is originally from Trinidad and Tobago and met in New York. They studied for several years at the Ottley Music Studio in Hyattsville before moving Upper Marlboro in 2007. According to Winston Charles, the couple continues to perform to bring joy to others. “The benefits are not physical, not tangible,” he said. “It’s more spiritual. It’s a feeling, good feeling that you are going out and doing what you’re supposed to be doing as a missionary, because we are missionaries.”
Songs featured on the album are:
• More Than Wonderful
• Take My Life
• Dry Their Tears, which was inspired by the resilience of the people of Haiti, and meant to inspire hope.
One devoted listener said of the song, “I thank God for Bernadette and Winston Charles; their ministry of music has inspired my entire family to get to know Jesus better! I am blessed.”
Take My Life is available on the duo’s website, bwcharles.com, on Amazon, and on iTunes.
