The Tactical City Pack is a backpack that offers a multitude of features in a sturdy and lightweight pack. Tough, durable, functional and versatile, the Tactical City Pack is still fashionable enough to wear anywhere. Designed to support both outdoor life and to serve as an on-the-go office, the Tactical City Pack has received glowing reviews from several sources, including Trend Hunter, Gadget Flow, HiConsumption, Freshness Mag and Everyday Carry. Now, Seoul-based creator Eshena has launched a Kickstarter campaign to bring the Tactical City Pack to a wider audience.
The Tactical City Pack is based on the MOLLE or Modular Lightweight Load-Carrying Equipment system. MOLLE backpacks are currently used by several groups of armed forces, including NATO troops as well as American and South Korean troops in Afghanistan. The MOLLE system features compatible pouches and accessories that can be added or removed utilizing rows of heavy-duty nylon stitches on vests and backpacks. The Tactical City Pack features nylon webbing and Velcro to attach a wide range of pouches and accessories in different sizes, providing a wealth of storage in addition to the foundational backpack space.
The Tactical City Pack features double-layered hidden pockets in a variety of sizes to hold everything from a snack to a laptop; umbrella and bottle holders; an iPad, iPod and charger pockets; a sunglasses case; a sternum strap and a padded Neoprene back panel for extra comfort. In addition, users can add a small or medium detachable pouch for additional storage space.
As seen at https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1343410176/tactical-city-pack-a-pack-for-your-office-and-outd, donors can pledge in amounts ranging from $26 to $325 and receive a number of rewards including small or medium pouches or full tactical packs. In addition, a portion of the proceeds from each bag sale will go to help Afghani children. For more information, see the Kickstarter page.
