StartupWind on-boards 6,000 women entrepreneurs across India as part of the Women Startup Programme conducted by Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore!

StartupWind provides digital platform for ideation, design thinking, business model canvas and business planning to augment the video based training program delivered by NSRCEL at IIM Bangalore.

Santa Clara – February 15th, 2018 – StartupWind, Inc has on-boarded over 6,000 women entrepreneurs as a platform partner of IIM Bangalore’s Women Startup Programme that will provide training, mentoring, networking and financial support to budding Indian women entrepreneurs. The programme is for women of all ages and educational backgrounds who have been thinking about starting a venture and not knowing how to do it. The IIM Bangalore programme is coupled with the software framework and tools provided by StartupWind to help women entrepreneurs bring their ideas to life.

The Women Startup Programme offers:

  1. Rs. 3.6 lakh stipend for each winner
  2. Prototyping grant
  3. Incubation, Legal and compliance support and office infrastructure 
  4. A trip to Israel for selected startups
  5. Mentoring and networking opportunities
  6. StartupWind’s Social networking, ideation and business planning platform

The programme will be conducted in four stages that will include a massive open online course, a boot camp at satellite centers, a boot camp at IIM Bangalore followed by incubation and financial assistance. StartupWind is the platform partner for the programme and will provide the ideation and business model canvas platform for the women entrepreneurs.
