StartupAcademy.org launches 3 Day Discovery Academy

24RD October 2016

FROM IDEA TO STARTUP ONLINE EVENT

Byron Bay, Australia:  In conjunction with Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW.co) StartupAcademy.org is aiming at reaching thousands of communities around the world. Online and free during the weekend of 18th to 20th November 2016 its aim is to help anyone with an idea become a startup entrepreneur. In 3 steps and fully online, the Discovery Academy supports anyone, anywhere to turn their idea into a startup. Among the 15 inspirational speakers are world class entrepreneurs such as Adam Cheyer, cofounder of Siri, and Elliot Chapple of crowdfunding platform Pozible.

Cofounder of StartupAcademy.org Dr. Dan Swan said, “Regions or towns that are not “tech-hubs” are immediately at a disadvantage. So we figured out quickly, how to give our community the tools, resources and confidence to launch their new business ideas. Regions have fewer employers so learning to understand basic commerce enables anyone to create jobs and not just apply for them. Anyone can participate so even if you’re already heading to a weekend startup event or hackathon, or can’t get one, you can still use our online resources and join for free”. Joining and participation will be free each day during Global Entrepreneurship Week, after which the program will cost $99USD.

Enrolment is already open with further information on the speakers and line-up available on startupacademy.org/3day-discovery. Those who enrol and share with their communities, however small, will also be given early online access prior to the weekend at no charge. StartupAcademy.org also has an affiliate program to help co-working spaces and hubs, who may not have the resources to run startup events, earn commissions that help develop, grow and mentor entrepreneurship in their communities.

About StartupAcademy.org: The platform is a venture created by StartInno, a co-working and innovation hub headquartered in Byron Bay, Australia. StartInno was founded in 2014 by successful entrepreneur Dr. Dan Swan to promote lean startup methodologies and ecosystems into regional areas.
