A lover of candles and a designer of unique creative ideas, Robert Scott wants to share his love for premium scented candle through his new idea of the world’s 1st subscription box for premium soy candles called Skeleton Candles. Robert has taken his idea to the popular crowdfunding platform Kickstarter to build support and raise funds necessary to ignite his project. The aim of the campaign is to raise funds for a candle subscription service for a package delivery once a month which will include items such as premium quality, perfectly scented, and 100% soy candles in every box, the crowdfunding campaign on KickStarter has a funding goal of at least $1,000 USD to be raised by Sun, May 1 2016.
Because Robert loves candles, he also knows how expensive good quality scented can be, and that some people are put off from purchasing these candles due to the high prices. To resolve this provide and cater to the indulgences of scented candle aficionados, Robert created his own line of premium scented candles that are made out of 100% soy, are scented to perfection using high quality essential oils and hand poured (various successful Kickstarter campaigns help him along) and now he is creating a monthly subscription box service, which will combine quality with affordability. Robert explained: “The reason why we can sell the soy candles to you at a reasonable cost because there are no additional markups plus you will be receiving multiple candles at once, which allows us to pass along the cheaper price. When you shop at Bed Bath Beyond, Yankee Candles, and other major retailers the candles are marked up leaving you with an expensive candle.”
Robert has hand-selected the raw materials which he uses to manufacture the Skeleton Candle, he specifically chooses 100% soy for the candles to ensure they were safe, long lasting, better for the environment and all natural. Subscribers of the Skeleton Candles monthly subscription box will be receiving 2-4 soy candles each month all for under $26-$35/month.
The funds raised through the current crowdfunding campaign will be allocated towards to purchasing equipment and inventory to keep up with the growing demands. A variety of different rewards and perks are being offered to prize the generosity of those who support the campaign and the project through their monetary contributions.
