USA – Ms. Shana Solomon is pleased to announce her casting in NBC’s hit crime drama series Shades Of Blue, which stars Bronx-native superstar Jennifer Lopez and veteran actor Ray Liotta. Appearing as Karen, the first of the three episodes that Ms. Solomon will be featured in, season 2 episode eight, titled Unpaid Debts, is set to air on April 23rd, 2017. In addition to her work in Shades of Blue, Ms. Solomon has made notable appearances in Law & Order SVU, Steven Spielberg’s and Ed Burns’ “Public Morals”, as well as in HBO’s comedic series Divorce.
Speaking of working with Jennifer Lopez, Ms. Solomon said “Just like JLo, I was born and raised in the Bronx. It was a dream come true for me to work with someone as talented and accomplished as Jennifer Lopez. I felt greatly inspired by being in the presence of a powerful, successful woman who was brought up in the same neighborhood as me, and who celebrates the privilege of being a Bronxite as much as I do.”
