About Arlisha Trotter
Arlisha Trotter is a freelance writer, poet, and song writer. Writing is one of her lifelong passions. Trotter has no previous publications before this but plenty of work that’s in progress. She was born and raised in Grand Rapids Michigan and attended Grand Valley State University for her Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work. Her face is known for a person who demonstrates leadership skills throughout the community and college through posters and magazines.
She has an MFA in Creative Writing from Grand Rapids Community college. Where she has entered in stage performances at rally’s held for black history month. During her time at GRCC, Trotter joined the Black Student Union as an advocate for Women’s Issues. For the last three years Trotter her Husband and four kids have been living state to state trying to find the right place to call home they now reside in Georgia eating boiled peanuts.
