Renick, WV, USA — Serial entrepreneur, Jalon “Jay” Petre, has sold his largest manufacturing company and now aims to help others thrive. “It’s time for me to focus on putting the experience I have gained as an entrepreneur to work helping others succeed.”
Mentoring is nothing new to Jay. “I can’t even count the number of people I’ve seen Jay mentor in the 10 plus years I’ve known him” remarked friend/vendor Timothy Luce.
Jay grew up in a Mennonite home where he learned the value of hard work and keeping your word. He was promoted to shop foreman at the age of 17 and excelled from there. His father “Pop” is the largest shaping force in his life. Jay lost his mother to cancer at age 8 and found solace in working with his hands. The lessons he has learned along the way have proven their worth as he shares them with others.
It isn’t book knowledge, it is proven real-world success. Jay has ran hard, and been fortunate enough to find success.
He has always loved helping other people succeed. This is the natural progression of that.
His new venture is called “Lead. Win. Thrive.” and offers consulting, and mentoring on a contract basis. He has significant experience in sales and marketing along with logistics and business management/operations. “Jay offers a refreshing perspective on my business. His advice is grounded in the roots of his blue collar work ethic and his passion for helping is as genuine as his own success story” Commented Mark Bowe Producer of DIY Network’s TV show Barnwood Builders and owner of Antique Cabins and Barns.
Named “Young Entrepreneur of the Year” by the Small Business Administration (SBA) in 2010, he has the focus of a chess-masterand the easy-going personality of a small-town barber. See http://leadwinthrive.com for more details on their strategy for life and business.
