Pittsburgh, PA – 1 Sep, 2017 – Ola Jackson creator of a new lifestyle blog, Your Style Ways (YSW), has proudly announced that she is now helping women across the globe through its amazing initiative to educate and inspire women on the needs of self-care. Through niche content and a series of videos that will not only provide authentic information on lifestyle matters; will include self-care advice and share various tips to help women combine their love for style with their need to engage in self-care activities. YSW provides content that includes fashion, decorating and travel infused with the messages that encourage self-care experiences; meant to inspire women to not just live life, but to experience it as well by doing special, meaningful things for themselves.
“After 26 years of operating a communications business where I created a local 8-page professional development newsletter that later blossomed into a fully blown business magazine called Onyx woman, I put my hard copy edition to rest to focus on a new mission,” said Ola. “I am now helping women by educating them on the need for self-care by creating a blog and a series of videos combining lifestyle information with self-care advocacy,” she added
Jackson assisted hundreds of women over the years through her business workshops, seminars and sell-out conferences but she saw some disturbing patterns – many women were “overwhelmed, over worked and simply over it.” During some soul searching and talking to several women from all walks of life, she realized that so many women needed to be inspired to engage in self-care practices. Her own personal experience while becoming a caregiver to her 80-year-old mother and raising a son with Autism, gave her a revelation that she needed to make self-care the mission of her next life’s chapter.

About Ola Jackson
Onyx Woman Network was birthed on Mother’s Day 1991, when Ola received a handmade Mother’s Day card with a note that would change the direction of her career. The greeting card read, “Happy Mother’s Day from the staff of Jackson Communications,” later changed to OWN: Onyx Woman Network. Her vision was supported by her husband Daryl and Armon, her 5-year-old son. As a freelance consultant working for small organizations in need of planning and public relations services at the time, coordinated media coverage for ribbon-cuttings, ground-breaking ceremonies, community events and business affairs. She seized the moment when the opportunity to work with these organizations full-time presented itself. Jackson assisted thousands of women over the years through her business workshops, seminars and sell-out conferences. During some soul searching of her own personal experiences while becoming a caregiver to her 80-year-old mother and raising a son with Autism, gave her a revelation that she needed to make self-care the mission of her next life’s chapter.
