SeatsUnlimited currently has tickets available for punk band Green Day’s upcoming North American tour that was just announced and that is scheduled to begin on September 20. The band will be touring across the United States and Canada in support of their new album, Revolution Radio, which is set to be released by Reprise Records on October 7. Tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday September 9th.
This will be the band’s 12th studio album. Green Day self-produced the new album, unlike their previous recordings. It includes 12 tracks exploring many modern themes in Green Day’s classic style that combines punk and rock.
The Revolution Radio tour will begin with concert dates in the Midwest. The first show will take place in St. Louis on September 20. The band will travel to the East Coast and will finish off the North American tour with two shows in California. The final stop in the U.S. will be in Berkeley, California on October 20. The members of Green Day will then take a break for the holidays before continuing the tour with dates in Europe starting in January.
Green Day has sold over 75 million albums worldwide and has won five Grammy Awards. Their Broadway musical, American Idiot, won two Tonys. The band was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame last year.
