Robert Burke Launches Kickstarter Campaign to Produce Book of Dragons

Book of Dragons is a card game system: With over 18 designer games, Book of Dragons is not simply a card game, but a game system.

Beautifully illustrated by world-renowned artist Kerem Beyit, Book of Dragons will release with over 18 games by over 16 designers.  In the future, the system will also have more games created by respected designers and the community at large. The Book of Dragons card game system includes a deck of large, tarot-sized cards.  However, instead of playing poker, blackjack, or other traditional card games, a host of designer games utilizing modern design mechanics makes play more exciting and entertaining.

The cards are big and beautiful with colorful designs.  The retail version will ship with a reference booklet and three different rulebooks:  one for light games that are perfect for families with children, one for pub-style/beer & pretzel filler games, and one for heavier strategy games.

The games that will ship with Book of Dragons include:

  • Dragon’s Bluff by Martin Wallace – A bluffing game for 3 or 4 players
  • Dragon Mystery Rummy:  The Case of the Rare Dragon by Mike Fitzgerald – A rummy style game with a twist for 2 to 4 players
