Reel Trail was founded in 2017 by outdoor enthusiasts Kirk and Ryan Leaphart. The father-and-son duo used to run a storefront in Charleston, South Carolina where they sold outdoor gears through consignment. They founded ReelTrail after realizing the need for a marketplace tailored specifically for outdoor enthusiasts.
