LOS ANGELES, CA – December 8, 2017 – Schatar Sapphira Collier writes, produces and makes her directorial debut with Amulet Of Love. The musical movie is birthed from a fresh perspective to bring out “pure awesomeness.”
Schatar is the Co-Founder of New Vista Studios, a technology and digital media entertainment company, who says: “People, especially women, can be empowered to know that they can shape their own destinies.”
The film tells the story of Alexis Hamilton, an international singer & actress, and Miguel Goodman, a prominent but modest businessman, who appear to live glamorous dream lives until a magical chance encounter sets them on a new adventure.
While this reality star made international headlines as the character “Hottie” as seen on the Vh1 #1 hit show “Flavor Of Love” by iconicizing the scene of cooking a whole raw chicken in the microwave, Schatar now takes the lead in her own definition and challenges industry expectations as a director and producer.
Schatar says further, “I created my movie as I didn’t see an adequate variety of quality roles that gave a true picture of an artist’s training and experience. In “Amulet Of Love”, we give all of our cast members an opportunity to shine with their own highest form of artistry.” This musical is a living example of inspiration, musicianship and professionalism.
She states that her husband encouraged her completion of this musical, “With the support of my husband, Maxie D. Collier, a tremendous advocate of digital filmmaking for the last 20 years, I decided to bring fun, entertainment and hope to the screen.”
Amulet Of Love will be available Dec. 12, 2017 on premiering on Amazon Prime, YouTube, AmuletOfLove.com and the official soundtrack will be available on iTunes. The musical’s lyrics, vocal arrangements and vocal performances are by Schatar Sapphira Collier while composer Mark Beall writes the music. These new songs of the heart are designed to ring in the listeners’ minds and trigger the audiences to want more. Schatar with her team are already in pre-production on a musical feature film and in development on a series.
