Poetess Susan These Launches Her Collection of Poems, “McCullough\’s Roost”

Susan These is a resident of the Sunshine Coast who has loved poetry throughout her life, and has recently released her collection of poems, “McCullough’s Roost.”

Sechelt, British Columbia – April 16, 2018 – Susan These has always been fond of poetries and loves to write in the fresh air. Her inclination to poems has found an avenue in her collection of poems, titled “McCullough’s Roost” after her experiences on McCullough Road, Sunshine Coast, where she has been living in since 1975. The anthology has recently been released on Amazon, on March 18, 2018.

Susan was born to Thomas and Wilma McLeod and is the eldest of their four children. She grew up in North Vancouver with her sister and two brothers while enjoying a normal and lively childhood. After her marriage to John These, she moved to McCullough Road on the Sunshine Coast. Her new address saw her live happily with her husband, and raise two beautiful daughters. She did hunting, camping, scuba diving, caregiving and teacher aiding. She also worked as a cooper and an office manager for 15 years at a mill, also included Healing Touch Practitioner and ran a home based business, for more than 10 years.  During this time she also wrote and published her mother’s autobiography, “Willies Passions.”

Over the years, more than 500 people have come to and gone from her home. Each of these people touched Susan in some way, and her collection of poems as “McCullough’s Roost” is a reflection of the same. She intends to turn the poems about these experiences into beautiful stories that she hopes people would love to read and enjoy.

Susan has always been in love with poetry, and her anthology fulfills her dream of writing a book of poems. She hopes that people will love to read her collection of poetries, as it consists of her heartfelt emotions penned as words. Emotional expressions have always touched Susan, and she likes to write on various emotional themes such as friendship, love, and faith.

Her anthology narrates her life since 1975 when she got married to John. Susan calls her book “a cloudburst of emotion” and terms it as her life’s legacy that she wants to leave behind for everyone to enjoy. It will be loved by anyone who wants expressions of affection and love, an illustration of appreciation or some motivation. The anthology is filled with many emotions, and Susan believes that it will lift the mood of readers.

At the moment, the anthology is available for purchase at the Amazon web store as a paperback, hardcover, and eBook for Kindle. Those interested in her work can buy it in any form that they prefer and enjoy going through her collection of poems at any time they need a lift.
