Plantwear Release Their Range Of Wooden Watches In The UK

Plantwear have a selection of wooden watches and sunglasses, these are handmade and have been made of FSC approved woods. All of their pieces are made in their own workshops by hand, this means they complete tests on each piece to ensure they are of a high quality and meet certain standards. Currently only sold in Eastern Europe, these quality watches are now available in the UK.

Plantwear have been making stunning woodern watches for years. However, they are now looking to the UK market, where they believe demand for their unique hand crafted goods will be high.

Two of the popular watches offered by Plantwear UK would include wegne from the urban series and massaranduba from the glamour series. They offer many different series such as sierra, heritage and raw, as well as that they offer many different types of woods for these to come in such as maple, rosewood and oak. They have 32 different watches available. The heritage series do different coloured watches such as pink, blue and orange which can comes with an oak or ebony case; apart from pink which only comes with an oak case.

The watches can either come with a wooden case and material strap or with a wooden case and strap. The material straps are made of natural calf leather. All of the straps are adjustable and each watch comes with a kit so they can be adjusted. The watches aren’t completely water resistant but are splash resistant. They are fitted with a mineral glass face and a stainless steel crown.

They offer six original designed series of sunglasses; these are fresh, cool, lans, retro, sport and classic. In each range the lenses are available in different colours such as grey and blue REVO; they are also available in a selection of woods such as mahogany and rosewood. However, not all of them have the same lens and wood options available. In the retro series the lenses are available in grey, brown, blue and orange. The woods available in this range include rosewood, mahogany, maple, oak and wenge.

The sunglasses have double springs and float in water so you don’t have to worry as much about losing them in the pool or at the beach. The wood is solid and sun resistant; the wood is covered with a natural wax for protection and prevention of scratches. They have polarised+ UV400 protected lenses. Every pair of the sunglasses come with a carrying bag and wooden box, to keep them safe when they aren’t being worn and so they have less chance of being damaged.
