Joel A. Dawson, a professional speaker, and startup trainer was recently honored and awarded as the second place winner in the semifinals ranking at the just concluded 85th Annual Toastmaster’s International Convention held in Washington, D.C. In this world championship competition, each contestant delivered about 5 to 7-minute speech and were all evaluated by a panel of experienced Toastmaster Judges.
The 2016 International Speech Contest started with 35,000 participants all over the world. After many competitions that started in April the top 98 contestants in the world met in Washington D.C. Due to his powerful presentation skills, Joel A. Dawson was ranked as one of the top 20 public speakers in the world as ranked by Toastmasters international.
