Phillips & Temro Industries Receives a 2015 Supplier Quality Excellence Award from General Motors

Quality auto parts for the sake of performance, reliability and safety cannot be taken for granted, and when a company delivers it’s nice to be recognized. This is why Phillips & Temro Industries is pleased to announce it received GM’s Supplier Quality Excellence award as a top performing supplier.

Eden Prairie, MN (December 7, 2016) Phillips & Temro Industries (PTI) is pleased to announce it was recently presented with General Motors’ (“GM”) 2015 Supplier Quality Excellence Award, which recognizes product suppliers who have demonstrated the highest levels of quality performance over the previous 12 months.

PTI is a global OEM and aftermarket provider of custom engineered thermal systems and solutions for the automotive industry.

PTI was identified as one of GM’s top performing suppliers for meeting 13 stringent quality performance criteria along with cross-functional support of the entire GM organization, including Customer Satisfaction Problem Reporting and Resolution (PRR), TS16949 certification, which emphasizes the development of a process oriented quality management system, and Quality PRR’s.

The award was presented to PTI on December 1 by Jason Myszynski, GE’s senior supplier quality engineer, and accepted by PTI president Tom Moser in the presence of office and plant employees.

“Receiving our GM 2015 Supplier Quality Excellence Award was a team effort,” said Moser. “All PTI associates put forth their best effort in a spirit of continuous improvement in order to achieve this goal.”

This is the fifth year the US vehicle manufacturer has given the award to top performing manufacturers.
