PerenSOD is a range of Swiss Made Luxury Transylvanian watches, launched on the crowdfunding platform Kickstarter that has surpassed its fundraising goal of $25,000. The campaign still has a few more weeks to go and the owners are pretty delighted to receive such great response from the backers.
Peren Son of The Dragon is the project that features a range of distinctive perennial timepieces that are manufactured as a tribute to the Transylvanian Prince, Vlad Dracula, Son of The Dragon.
After managing to raise more than 500 % of the initial goal, Peren watches teamed up with a Swiss manufacturing company, with more than 30 years of experience for creating a unique range of watches that define luxury and style.
The Swiss Made watches stand high on quality with intricate designs that make a style statement with all kinds of attire. The design of the watch is inspired by the Transylvanian tradition and mythology while it’s crafted by skilled craftsman having years of experience and expertise.
The watch also features a revolutionary moon phase indicator at 6H which is inspired by the astronomical phenomenon of the Blood Moon. The Peren SOD logo is also inspired by the same depiction of a dragon as the house in Sighisoara, Transylvania where Vlad Dracula was born.
The two hemicycles at 12H and 6H feature holes for date and moon phase indicator, giving the each a unique and eye-catching look. This intricate design is inspired by the medieval Transylvanian castles. The double layered dial with red indexes on the first layer and fangs shaped excisions on the upper layer remind the legend of Dracula in an effortless manner.
The center of the watch dial is carved with the bat shape to reflect the Transylvanian mythology. A lot of attention to details has been paid in the designing process of the watch and the makers have made sure that the watch truly reflects the theme it is based on.
Though most of the rewards are now gone and with only few Early Birds rewards available, the backers still have a chance to order the watch at a lower price than the estimated retail price through Kickstarter.com.
