Dr. Santiago has been practicing for over thirty years and is currently serving patients at Santiago Medical Center in Cicero, Illinois. Furthermore, he is affiliated with St. Mary’s Medical Center and St. Anthony’s Hospital, where he also participates in the education of medical students and residents.

Dr. Santiago obtained his medical degree in 1980 at the Central University of the East in Dominican Republic. He trained at Hospital de la University de Puerto Rico in Carolina, Puerto Rico, and also at St. Luke’s Medical Center. He remains a member of the American Medical Association and the American Academy of Pediatrics, which allows him to remain active in his field. Dr. Santiago was honored as Best Doctor of the Year by St. Mary’s Medical Center in 2003. He feels that he owes his success to staying up to date in his field and his wonderful staff. When he is not working, he enjoys fishing, singing, and dancing.
