Glenelg, Maryland – June 17, 2015 – This Father’s Day, Bistro Blanc delivers the best for Dad with a Father’s Day Special Brunch and Dinner on June 21. Guests will enjoy the elegant ambiance as they dine in the rustic yet refined restaurant. Several entrees are available at both brunch and dinner, with all courses featuring the unique flavor blends of Chef Janny Kim.
This year, give Dad more than just a simple night out. The Maple Leaf Farms Foie Gras is paired with a brioche and cantaloupe yuzu gelee and parisienne cantaloupe. A passionfruit mousse with finger lime completes the meal. A Spinalis Dorsi, one of the rarest cuts of meat, is also on the menu for Father’s Day. This ribeye cap has been dry aged for 30 days and marinated in a maple black garlic emulsion. A quick apple kimchee salad with jasmine rice croutons and pickled daikon add to the rich bold flavor.
If Dad’s a seafood lover, the menu offers a marinated Sashimi Tuna with fresh lychee and burnt coconut milk, served with a compressed watermelon, radish and wasabi tobiko caviar. For dessert, Bistro Blanc will serve a strawberry cheesecake, made of compressed local strawberries. The madeline cake is topped with white balsamic and Chantilly cream, and sprinkled with a macadamia white chocolate cookie crumble.
