Plain City, Ohio – May 7, 2018 – Elton Yutzy was a minister of the Maranatha Community Fellowship in Plain City, Ohio before retiring in 2009 and focused on becoming a writer,
Author and Clergyman Reverend Elton Yutzy from Ohio wrote this religious piece, “God’s Plan for Man and Planet Earth.” It is now available at Amazon.com at https://www.amazon.com/Gods-Plan-Man-Planet-Earth/dp/1948779633/
The author talks about God’s revelation about the Creation from start to end. It reveals Pastor Yutzy’s thoughts about certain theological concerns from eternity past to eternity future as well as from the creation of the first heaven and earth (Genesis 1:1) to the new heaven and new earth (Revelations 21-22).
Reverend Yutzy is not in favor of evolution. However, he does not agree with the concept espoused by young earth creationists either. With respect to Eschatology, the component of Theology that deals with death and judgment as well as humans’ final destiny, the cleric advocates Premillennialism but rejects the doctrine of imminence –that Christ can return anytime.
“People cannot predict the day of God’s coming but I believe we will know that time if we realize what to look for,” Pastor Yutzy stated. Christ will not come as a thief in the night for humans who know what to look for in connection with Christ’s second coming. “But you, brethren, are not in darkness, so that this Day should overtake you as a thief.” (1 Thessalonians 5:4, NKJV) He will not return until all the signs pointing to his second coming are fulfilled.
The final part of this book covers the author’s point of view on God’s design for the church, Israel, and the gentiles. He writes about his opinions on several subject matters that includes abortion; cremation or incineration; tattoos; destination of the wicked (Gehenna); the Lake of Fire; Heaven; the New Jerusalem; and, other topics that applies to the modern church.
According to the Pastor Elton Yutzy, the biggest obstacle to many persons’ comprehension of the sacred scriptures is their childlike faith in what church leaders and parents taught them without searching the scriptures to see if those things be so. The fair-minded Bereans “…received the word with all readiness, and searched the Scriptures daily to find out whether these things were so.” (Acts 17:11, NKJV)
The author questions religious inconsistencies and opted to become alone with God away from all the worldly noise and happenings while seeking God’s answers to issues that bothered him. One of the pastor’s good friends let him stay in his unoccupied house in the West Virginia mountains where the cleric spent more than 30 days alone with God and His word without any interruptions from a mobile phone, Internet, radio, and TV. All Pastor did was pray and seek the Holy Spirit’s guidance and search the scriptures while writing his book.
Readers will certainly consider this book provocative, mentally stimulating, and theologically challenging.
