Notebooks and Journals Step into a New Eco-friendly Age with the Launch of Mountain Bound Books

Weaverville, CA, September 23, 2016 – Creative thoughts shine best on original media. As the ink and paper age gives way to the electronic and digital, there is much harm that we are causing to the environment, as well as to our creative spirits. Mountain Bound Books is therefore recycling and bringing back the touch and smell of original, paper bound notebooks in the most eco-friendly manner possible with a formal launch of the store and its website on September 22.

The recycled and hand bound book store will sell tree-free, organic, side stitched notebooks, available coming December 21, March 20, June 21, and September 22. Those who miss out can sign up for the quarterly newsletter for information on seasonal availability, gifts and discount coupons. Each registration gets a free Eco-Mini notebook as a special thanks.

Mountain Bound Books’ mission is to help people preserve their thoughts while protecting the Earth. Leave electronics behind to play with thoughts and record them on recycled paper. Leave a permanent imprint of our mind and soul in harmony with nature, keeping the environment green. Mountain Bound notebooks are meant to help users write out their story in their style, and form those thoughts that do good, with each page carefully guarding hopes and unfolding more and more space for the flow of thoughts. These books hold the creative fire of our imagination, and match it with their energy.

Every part of the books has been consciously considered and chosen to keep them eco-friendly. All books are made from food boxes and bagasse paper, organic cotton thread and local beeswax for strength conditioning. Bagasse paper is free of chlorine bleaching, and made of rapidly renewable fiber. Sugarcane can be harvested again in a couple of years without replanting, unlike trees.

Mountain Bound Books are heart-strong and sturdy, exquisitely rare, environmentally conscious, and most relevant to this planet we share today. This is a seasonal, limited release product, and customers can sign up for the quarterly newsletter to stay updated on new release as well as receive gifts and discount offers.
