New York Fashion Week Powered by Art Hearts Fashion Takes Center Stage

New York – New York Fashion Week powered by Art Hearts Fashion featured over 40 international couture and celebrity designers joining forces for a good cause. The event now in its 10th season is presented by AIDS Healthcare Foundation and was the stand out event of NYFW.

From February 8th – February 11th over 40 International designers gathered at the Angel Oresnanz Foundation event space in lower Manhattan to celebrate the art of fashion. Celebrities and influencers came out in droves to support the cause. Guest stars included: Adrien Brody, JordiMolla, Kelly Rutherford, Carmen Carrera, Chef Jean-Georges, Miss Costa Rica Korina Ramos, Jeff Seid, Alba Diaz, Andrew Gachkar, ArissaLebrock,,CarliBybel, Cara Mund, Kathryn Calhoun Dennis, Mira Sorvino, Alice Abdel Aziz, Farah Abdel Aziz, Nadine Abdel Aziz, and many more.

Celebrity international couture designers included: ElieMadi, Rocky Gathercole, Vaishali S, Temraza, George Styler, DiVamp Couture and NidalNouaihed. Project Runway winner KentaroKameyama and All Star Candice Cuoco headlined the event along with international powerhouse designers Carmen Steffens, Mac Duggal, Lisa Thon, Mister Triple X, Charles and Ron, Fernando Alberto, NathaliaGaviria, A Modo Mio, Willfredo Gerardo, Danny Nguyen, Lily Marotto, Datari Austin, Tisharth by Shivani, Kenneth Barlis and House of Byfield. Children’s designers included Trico Field, Wanda Beauchamp and Monnalisa.

The event included special presentations by newcomers from the Light and Shadow Global Design team featuring Wang Shusen, Louie Asumen, Cabognason, ZhengAidi, Shan Yixuan, and Kou Chunshu from China. Weiling Chang, Lulu Harazin, Melissa Mercedes, Christy Plus You, and RandaYousrey debuted at New York Fashion Week to a standing ovation.

Celebrity Artist Domingo Zapata painted live on the runway and was one of many celebrity presentations during the week. The audience cheered with actor JordiMolla kissed Domingo on the runway for the finale.  Celebrity Dog Designer Anthony Rubio presented a wonderful collection featuring his signature puppy outfits on the runway. Project Cancerland celebrated its second anniversary with Ano Ono Intimates featuring Breast Cancer survivors on the runway and was hosted by Academy Award winner Mira Sorvino.
