Forget about American Idol and Britain’s Got Talent. It’s time for Africans to shine. And they don’t even need a television show. With the new online talent show Make Africa Great, it is in everyone’s reach to become a star.
Make Africa Great has made it its mission to discover talented and gifted Africans and push them into the global entertainment limelight. What’s more is that there are great cash prizes to be won every month.
Anyone can enter the Show Your Talent, Get Rewards programme on www.makeafricagreat.com. From musicians to magicians, singers to comedians, dancers to film makers – the possibilities are endless. As long as you have talent, you are a potential winner. And who knows, you might just become the world’s next big sensation from Africa.
All you need to enter is a smart phone or video camera. Get your mother or best friend to record you while you put your best act forward, and you could be $300 richer before you know it. Needless to say, the more professional the video looks the better.
The idea behind Make Africa Great originated with a former radio talk show host who branched into the entertainment world and realised African talent needs a platform to propel them into the global entertainment arena. It is his dream to make Africa look great in the eyes of the world.
Entries are now awaited to be in time for the exciting announcement of the first winners on 15 July 2016. Three winners will be chosen monthly, with the best video receiving $300, the runner up getting $200, and the third best cashing in $100.
Winners will be announced monthly after July. Videos that are received between the first and last days of the month will compete against each other and the winners announced before the 15th of the following month.
