On 16 March, Monspace Indonesia held a grand opening ceremony in Medan, celebrating the moving of Monspace HQ moving to a new building. The expansion of the company and its new location in the city’s business hub symbolises the continuous progress of Monspace. The opening ceremony was packed with attendants, and some of the top Asian artists have performed on the night.
In recent years, Indonesia has become a well sought after market in Asia, with International bodies forecasting positive market trends. Since 2014, the Indonesian government has started focusing on empowering small and medium enterprises, e-commerce, and foreign investment. In 2016, the 14th economic stimulus package was launched to encourage the development of e-commerce and supporting enterprises.
In 2017, Indonesia’s minimum wage increased by 8.3%. In Jakarta, the minimum wage is now 3.4 million Indonesian Rupees (about 252 USD).
To celebrate the successful expansion of Monspace, a grand opening ceremony was held. Artists from Hong Kong, Malaysia, and Indonesia were invited to perform.
There are also two other highlights at the opening ceremony: the launch of Monspace Stylist Channel and the MS Symphony Exercise Clinic in Indonesia.
Hong Kong celebrity Michelle Yim, who’s also the spokesperson of Monspace’s Skincare line, was present as VIP at the Monspace Stylist Channel launch.
The opening ceremony of the new Monspace Indonesia office was star-studded. Famed Indonesian host Edric Tjandra was the emcee of the night, Malaysian songstress Winnie K performed the opening act, and Indonesian magician Russel Miracle entertained the guests with a brilliant performance.
At the end of the ceremony, Indonesian singer Krisdayanti brought the event to a perfect end.
Lastly, Dato Sri Jessy Lai encouraged Monspace Indonesia to continue creating miracles. “You are still young, and there is a long way for you to go. Let us move forward together, hand in hand, turning the impossible to possible!”
