Medicare expert, Jae W. Oh, has launched the crowdfunding campaign to support his second book, Medicare Mayhem: Solutions for Stakeholders. Oh points out the truth about Medicare, why Stakeholders are not given the complete picture, and makes suggestions to all parties, with suggestions that can actually be used. The campaign has already reached 80% of its stated goal and will remain open for both individual and commercial contributors.
It is no surprise that Medicare is confusing: it is the second largest federal program, there are approximately 55,000,000 Medicare beneficiaries, 10,000 people turn 65 years old every day, and that is not even including the countless other people involved in Medicare decision-making.
Whether aware or not, nearly every American adult is a Stakeholder. Each Stakeholder, no matter their party, is contributing to the confusion. Why? Every Stakeholder has been given a handful of puzzle pieces, presumes that what they hold is the entire picture, then makes decisions and distributes information based upon their fragmented picture. Each chapter of Medicare Mayhem is addressed to a specific type of Stakeholder and passes out that Stakeholder’s missing puzzle pieces to give everyone the full picture in order to help them in making the best decision for their situation.
