Kuester Management Group Shares Best Practices for Boosting Curb Appeal

Kuester Management Group provides homeowners with some simple, practical, and effective ways to make their homes look tidy and clean this spring and summer.

With warm weather here to stay, more and more homeowners are spending time outside—and one thing they might consider doing is sprucing up the front of their homes. In a new statement to the press, Kuester Management Group lists a few simple, practical, and effective ways for homeowners to make their places look clean and tidy.

“You obviously want to take pride in your home and to feel great about its appearance, and there are some straightforward ways to make that happen,” comments Bryan Kuester, President of Kuester Management Group.

One thing Kuester recommends is pressure washing. “You can really freshen up the sides of your home, plus your sidewalk and driveway areas—and don’t forget about the garage door,” Kuester recommends.

He also advises homeowners to remove any dead bugs that have been caught in their light fixtures. “Clean your fixtures thoroughly, and also take some time to replace any bulbs that need replacing,” Kuester explains.

Something else he recommends is thoroughly scouring the property for cobwebs. “Walk around your property and spend a few minutes getting rid of cobwebs that you see, especially under eaves or under deck and porch areas,” Kuester says.

Another important step for homeowners is cleaning their trashcans. “With soapy water and perhaps some white distilled vinegar, you can get rid of any odors that cling to your cans,” Kuester offers. “Don’t be the one family on the block with the stinky curbside containers!”

Of course, lawn and garden concerns are also paramount. One small step homeowners can take is adding some colorful potted plants or hanging plants to their front porch areas. “Make those front areas look really crisp and vibrant,” Kuester recommends.

Additionally, Kuester tells homeowners that regular pruning is a necessity. “If you have shrubs or tree branches that spill over into your front walkway, you’ll want to tidy that up and make the path more easily navigable,” he explains.

The bottom line: “This is the time of the year when homeowners really want to think about curb appeal—and about what they can do to maintain a tidy home and lawn throughout spring and summer,” comments Bryan Kuester.
