Is it entertainment or education? It’s hard to choose with Let’s play With DingDong, the incredibly fun and innovative app that teaches young children to play music on a range of instruments.
This app offers children ages 6 through 8 a playful experience with guitar, drum and piano, but don’t let your imagination – or the children’s creativity – stop there! Let’s play With DingDong also includes the flute, violin, cello and harp, and a wide range of percussion instruments that hasn’t left out the gong, the maracas, the tambourine and the castanets.
“Parents often know the benefits of studying music, including the correlation with improved math and other academic performance,” says Daun Jeong, the Manager at L’idée. “Children just know the sense of wonder and accomplishment they feel as they begin to make their own music. One of the beauties of Let’s play With DingDong is that you don’t have to worry about finding a music teacher just yet, especially for those less common instruments like the traditional Korean zither, the gayageum, or any of the 33 the app offers.”
Children who explore with Let’s play With DingDong can just shake to play, or to enjoy interchangeable instruments. There’s even an “instrument constellation” game that helps players to learn how music is created as they search for the missing and matching instruments. The play mode offers practice ranges for listening and repeating the tunes, and lyrics to the songs as the students earn points as they learn.
The Let’s play With DingDong app is now available at Google Play Store, with pay options that include subscriptions.
