How to change Airwheel 2 wheel electric scooter S8\’s main board?

Unlike traditional escooters, Airwheel S8 self-balancing scooter is able to provide premium riding experience due to its marvellous design for riding comforts. Riders are able to change between standing and sitting riding postures freely and can hardly feel tired from scooter riding. In this chapter, the following is to describe how to change 2 wheel electric scooter S8’s main board. Firstly, dismantle saddle and shell and disconnect operating arm and vehicle body wiring. Note: please remember the wiring position before disconnecting.

Disconnect power and disconnect upper cover and main board connecting lines. Dismantle connecting lines.

Remove the operating arm base, remove main board and remove thermal conductive silicone piece.

Then, place thermal conductive silicone piece, install main board and clear up and fasten it based on the record. After finished, you can install operating arm base.

The next step is calibration. Keep S8 horizontal and its wheels hang up. Insert calibration line as shown in the picture. Please pay attention to the standard port.

Connect the operating arm and scooter body connecting lines and connect the saddle and operating arm connecting lines. Then, turn on power, short connect calibration line and press A button in the remote control. Separate calibration line to ensure the line end does not touch the self-balancing scooter body. After calibration, turn off power and unplug the calibration line.

After the calibration, you need to install upper cover as you have remove it. Please do not impose lines when installing operating arm.
