January 22nd, 2018 – House Pixel Games is appealing for crowd funding to help raise $45,000 for their newly developed game “Mowin and Throwin”. Marc Mixon of House Pixel Games says that the money will go a long way in improving the game. “Your contribution and support will allow us to add more levels to the game,” said Marc. He added that all Kickstarter backers will receive copy of the game on Valve’s Steam platform once it launches in Early Access in March.
“Mowin and Throwin” is a local multiplayer game that is currently being developed for PC. The game requires four players who compete as lawn gnomes in teams of two. The objective is to mow as much of your yard as possible within the time limit while sabotaging the other team as they attempt to mow theirs.
Marc Mixon says that it is a whole new experience and a total blast which they would like to share with others. It is a game that brings friends and family together, playing as a team and learning the ropes together.
The game got developed by House Pixel Games, a small team of passionate developers who enjoy playing couch co-op games. Mixon says that local multiplayer games like Mowin’ & Throwin’ offer players a way to experience games with friends and without the toxicity that often accompanies playing with strangers on the internet. “It is a kind of fun that we miss, and many others are feeling the same way,” said Mixon.
The developers will use the contributions to design additional levels, polish the art, and fix bugs. “We want a smooth launch that exceeds our players’ expectations, “said Mixon.
