IDYLLWILD, CA – September 7, 2018 – Sometimes, a recurrence of events seems more than just a coincidence – and such appears to be the case for the Alhatti Christian Resort, which has once again remained safe from a recent Californian brush fire.
More specifically, on the afternoon of Wednesday, July 25th, 2018, a quickly-growing wildfire in the rural Riverside County community of Idyllwild in the San Jacinto Mountains, forced evacuations in the local community, including that of the Alhatti Christian Resort premises. Upon the fire’s successful containment, and after evacuations were lifted, residents and staff returned to the Resort, where they were relieved – yet not surprised – to find out that not an inch of its land was affected by the flames.
“Alhatti’s is often referred to as “Holy Ground” and whenever a fire has occurred in nearby areas, the flames always miraculously seem to switch to opposite direction as though to indicate protection from God himself,” said Alhatti Christian Resort’s media representative.
“Telephone calls flooded in from guests that stayed at Alhatti’s since its opening nearly three decades ago. Prayers from concerned ministry partners also flooded in from B.O.S.S. The Movement, an international ministry founded by the Owners of the Alhatti Christian Resort. This wildfire was the cause for our community to come together, and for Christians to show their unity and strength through prayer. God has threw His arms around us in protection, so we can’t help but praise Him once again for His miraculous works.”
Founded in in 1992 by Al & Hattie Hollingsworth, the Alhatti Christian Resort took over the former film site of the TV series “Bonanza”, sprawling over 120 acres dedicated to the Body of Christ. Located just minutes from the famous Cabazon off the I-10 Freeway in the mountain above Palm Springs near Highway 243, the Resort operates year-long and hosts guests on luxury cottages, while it is also the home of one of the three mountain golf courses in the nation.
