The International Association of HealthCare Professionals is pleased to welcome Nickolas Elias Dawlabani, MD, CPE, FAAP, Pediatrician, to their prestigious organization with his upcoming publication in The Leading Physicians of the World. Dr. Dawlabani is a highly trained and qualified pediatrician with a vast expertise in all facets of his work, especially medical/surgical pediatrics and hospital medicine. Dr. Dawlabani has been in practice for more than eight years and is currently serving patients at St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children (SCHC) – Section of Hospital Medicine located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He is also the secretary of the medical staff at SCHC and serves on many hospital committees. Furthermore, he is the medical director for inpatient paediatrics at Shore Medical Center in Somers Point, New Jersey.
Dr. Dawlabani, attended Ross University School of Medicine in Dominica, where he received his Doctor of Medicine degree in 2004. He did his residency in Pediatrics at St. Peter’s University Hospital. He also did an academic fellowship in curriculum development at Michigan State University College of Human Medicine in East Lansing, Michigan. He became well versed in the numerous facets of teaching and evaluation, research and evidence-based medicine, leadership, instructional technology, scholarly communications, societal context of medicine and academic career planning. Dr. Dawlabani is board certified in pediatrics and remains at the forefront of pediatric medicine through maintaining a number of professional affiliations and memberships with the American Medical Association (AMA), American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), American Pediatric Association (APA), Pediatric Academic Society (PAS), Pennsylvania Medical Society, American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) and the American Association for Physician Leaders (AAPL).
Dr. Dawlabani credits his success to his hard work and perseverance. When he is not working, Dr. Dawlabani enjoys spending time with his family, playing soccer, basketball, biking and traveling.
