The International Association of HealthCare Professionals is pleased to welcome Vadim Lerman, DO, orthopedic spine surgeon, to their prestigious organization with his upcoming publication in The Leading Physicians of the World. Dr. Lerman is a highly trained and qualified orthopedic spine surgeon with vast expertise inall facets of his work. Dr. Lerman is currently serving patients at the Mount Sinai/Beth Israel Spine Institute of New York, Nassau University Medical Center, and Total Orthopedics and Sports Medicine. Additionally, Dr. Lerman is Assistant Clinical Professor at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai Medical Center.
Dr. Lerman obtained his Doctor of Osteopathy degree at the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2006. He then went on to complete his Osteopathic Rotating Internship at Peninsula Hospital Center, where he was Chief Intern. Following his internship, Dr. Lerman completed his Orthopedic Surgery Residency, where he earned the title of Administrative Chief Resident during PGY-5, also at Peninsula Hospital Center. Furthermore, Dr. Lerman is a Fellow of the Beth Israel Spine Institute. Additionally, Dr. Lerman maintains professional memberships with the American Osteopathic Association, the American Medical Student Association, and the Student Osteopathic Medical Association. In the summer of 2003, Dr. Lerman participated in the Doctors without borders summer internship in Prague, Czech Republic.
Dr. Lerman obtained his New York State Medical License after completing the Comprehensive Osteopathic Medical Licensing Examination. In addition, he is certified in Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support. Dr. Lerman is fluent in many languages including, English, Russian, and Ukrainian. When Dr. Lerman is not assisting patients, he enjoys photography, art, and traveling.
