Dr. Gomberg has been in practice for 28 years years and is currently serving patients as cardiologist and Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania Health System in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Dr. Gomberg earned his Doctor of Medicine degree in 1982 at the Medical College of Pennsylvania, where he also went on to complete his internship. He then completed his fellowship at Presbyterian-University of Pennsylvania Medical Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Dr. Gomberg holds dual certification by the American Board of Internal Medicine in both Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Disease. Furthermore, Dr. Gomberg has had chapters published on clinical cardiology, and has also been called upon to speak on this subject. He maintains a professional membership with the American Heart Association, and is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology. Dr. Gomberg attributes his success to taking time with each patient and placing an strong emphasis on their clinical care.When he is not working with patients, Dr. Gomberg enjoys playing the guitar and spending quality time with his grandchildren.
