Halverson originally started Team Aerosniff with her dog Riley, who participated in the Dockdogs Worldwide Championships three years in a row and earned 13 Nose Work titles despite suffering from both canine epilepsy and cancer. After Riley’s passing, Halverson continued the legacy with Brownie, a high-energy chocolate lab who loves competing and has earned several awards in CAT, FastCAT, and Trick Testing competitions.
Brenda Rolland Halverson’s experiences with Riley have given her a great deal of knowledge and information about canine epilepsy and cancer in dogs, which she passes on to others whose dogs are struggling with the same conditions. “I believe that knowledge is power, and the more you know about what your dog is dealing with, the better quality of life you can help him or her achieve,” says Halverson.
