In an effort to address the different needs of men and women in recovery, Haven House Addiction Treatment recently announced that it will open separate treatment centers as well as sober living homes for both men and women starting mid 2016.
By the end of the year, Haven House properties in Los Angeles, California will be comprised of a Sober Living Facility for Men, a Sober Living Facility for Women, a Treatment Center for Men, and a Treatment Center for Women.
According to Owner-Operator Jeremy Stanton, “Gender-specific treatment centers and sober living homes allow individuals to focus greater energy on recovery without potential distraction. Gender-specific treatment goals and concerns can also be addressed on a more communal level.”
Each of Haven House’s treatment centers is equipped with 24 hour residential monitoring, case management, group and individual therapy, holistic services and transportation, ensuring a safe and comfortable pathway to recovery.
Haven House also announces that the residents of their Men’s Sober Living facility in Santa Monica will be consolidated with the Men’s Sober Living facility in Los Angeles. Other existing locations will remain unchanged.
