Just days after the release of their latest album, “Revolution Radio”, Green Day has announced a 2017 North American tour. The band’s 12th album was released on October 16, 2016. It’s been praised by music critics for its personal lyrics, focused composition, and signature Green Day sound that made the band famous.

The North American tour will kick off on in March of 2017 and last through the beginning of April. It consists of 24 dates, starting in Pheonix, Arizona and ending in San Diego, California. Accompanying Green Day is the Against Me! The punk rock band will perform as the opening act on all dates of the tour to support their LP “Shape Shift With Me,” which was recently released in September.
Green Day is currently on a press tour for “Revolution Radio.” The band is performing intimate shows at smaller venues across the nation and abroad. They have scheduled performances for the rest of the year before heading to Europe for a two-month promotional tour in 2017. The band will then head straight into the new tour in March.
This will be the first major tour to from Green Day since their 99 Revolutions tour in 2013. General tickets go on sale on October 14th of 2016.
