Glenn Beck Predicts Revolution if People Don’t Get Their Acts Together

Media Mogul & Talk Radio Host Calls for Unity and Tolerance

Stansberry Investor Hour co-hosts Porter Stansberry and Buck Sexton spoke to Glenn Beck, founder of television and radio network TheBlaze. The host of the Glenn Beck Radio Program talked about a wide array of political topics spanning from President Donald Trump’s followers to future chaos in the United States.

During Trump’s presidential campaign, Beck criticized the billionaire businessman. Now, he realizes why he resonated so well with Middle America.

“Trump spoke the language,” Beck said. “The way he spoke and talked… he convinced them that he’s not a billionaire. He’s just like them. Because he’s one of them, people have stopped looking at the problems and put their faith ‘In Donald We Trust’ or ‘In Trump We Trust.’”

Beck’s umbrella company Mercury Radio Arts – an independent media company he’s grown instead of sticking with FOX – projected to do more than $100 million in sales last year. Because of the political and mainstream media distractions, Beck is finding that people aren’t paying attention to issues that could destroy the country’s economy, such as auto loans. Bloomberg reports that in 2009, $2.5 billion of new subprime auto bonds were sold. In 2016, $26 billion of auto loans were sold.

“Because everybody is screaming at each other, we’re missing some really important things,” Beck said. “Watching the default on auto loans is the canary in the coal mines.”

Much of Beck’s interview focused on the division and hostility between political groups and parties. This is in large part due to such a large segment of the United States population not being ready for a maverick outsider, celebrity and nationalist like Donald Trump becoming President.

“At least when Barack Obama was in office, half of the country was mentally prepared, and in some regard, physically prepared for tough times,” Beck said. “They were talking about food storage and being good neighbors. That’s all over. We need to start listening on the local level. If this doesn’t happen, it’s relief, radicalism, or revolution in 2018 or 2024.”

But Beck is holding out hope that citizens will get their act together, and he believes he can make a huge difference in that area through his platform.

“When you can take people and speak their language and speak the language of the heart and be good at telling a story, you can at least break through enough to have people say, ‘You know, I don’t agree with that guy, but he’s really smart. He’s fair. He’s decent. And I like him. I just don’t agree with him,’ and that’s what we need to get back to,” Beck said.

About Porter Stansberry

Porter Stansberry founded Stansberry Research in 1999 with the firm’s flagship newsletter, Stansberry’s Investment Advisory

Prior to launching Stansberry Research, Porter was the first American editor of the Fleet Street Letter, the world’s oldest English-language financial newsletter.

Since he launched Stansberry’s Investment Advisory, his string of accurate forecasts has made his advisory one of the most widely read in the world and has helped his readers both avoid catastrophe and make incredible gains.

For example, his dead-on prediction of the mortgage meltdown got the attention of Barron’s, who said Porter’s work was “remarkably prescient… Nothing, as far as we can see, has happened to contradict his dire prophecy…”

At Stansberry Research, Porter oversees more than a dozen of the best editors and analysts in the business, who do an exhaustive amount of real-world, independent research. Together, his group has visited hundreds of publicly traded companies to bring Stansberry Research subscribers the safest, most profitable investment ideas in the world, no matter what’s happening in the markets.
