The International Association of Health Care Professionals is pleased to welcome Randy L. Reese, MD, Geriatrician and Family Physician to their prestigious organization with his upcoming publication in The Leading Physicians of the World. Dr. Reese serves patients at his private practice – Reese Family Practice, PC and is currently affiliated with the McKenzie-Willamette Medical Center in Springfield, Oregon. Previously, in rural Oregon, he staffed a number of emergency departments including Cottage Grove, Peace Harbor, Central Oregon and Santiam Memorial Hospitals. Past affiliations in Maryland and Texas have included Johns Hopkins Affiliated Hospitals (St. Agnes & Howard County General Hospitals) in suburban Baltimore and the George Bush & Baylor Medical Centers in north Dallas.
With over 36 years of widely varied experience (practiced with cardiologists, psychiatrists, emergency, geriatric and family physicians), he has specialized in geriatrics, family practice and emergency medicine. Educated at the Medical College of Ohio, where he also completed his internship, Dr. Reese completed a Family Practice residency at the University of Maryland and affiliated hospitals. He is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and has served professionally as members of the Christian Medical and Dental Society, the Medical and Chirurgical Faculty of the State of Maryland, American Medical Association, Maryland Academy of Family Physicians, Texas Academy of Family Physicians, Oregon Academy of Family Physicians, American Academy of Family Physicians, American College of Emergency Physicians, and the American Association of Physician Specialists.
Dr. Reese attributes his success to “listening to his patients as they frequently identify the diagnosis” and always striving for excellence. Furthermore, it is imperative to empathize with his patients in order to communicate his caring concern. When not assisting patients, he enjoys hiking, football, wrestling, and playing the drums.
