GarageFarm.NET, sits down with Simon Barrionuevo, CEO and animation director of Wild Bunch Studios to talk about his career, his company’s work and his experience with using GarageFarm.NET render farm.
Wild Bunch Studios is a South American animation company specializing in character animation and content creation. The company was started in 2012 by 3 friends and partners. Between 2014 and 2015, Wild Bunch Studios grew to 14 people doing mostly character design and animation. Their biggest client has been Discovery Kids Latin American television channel.
They made the character design for the opening of the show Hi 5 Fiesta. They will soon create content for 8 TV shows and are currently in talks with certain Chinese companies to co-produce their own show called Discovery Time, which GarageFarm.NET Render Farm will help render.

Discovery Time is a mix of 2D and 3D elements with all characters in full CG, created in Zbrush and Maya with a script called Shapes. The rigging and all the animation are made in Maya and used V-Ray for the rendering. After Effects being used for the compositing and Adobe Photoshop for the 2D background; and rendered with the help of GarageFarm.NET Render Farm.
