Waldorf, MD – 20th April, 2016 – Leading US weekly mixshow FuseBox Radio Broadcast shows a huge expansion to more than 25 international FM, internet radio & podcast outlets this April. The weekly show is a robust blend of music, talk podcast & radio episodes, themed to revive best of black radio for listeners worldwide.

Added to a mix of new and old school Black or Urban music, the show also presents a rendition of news & editorial commentary covering everything under the sun- ranging from US politics to popular culture. Started in 1998 at Rutgers University, FuseBox Radio Broadcast was cultivated through usual FM channels & it expanded to podcast outlets in 2006.

“It feels great to see that what initiated as a humble radio show at Rutgers University in 1998 has now grown to a wholesome 3-hour-long radio mixshow which has expanded to as many as 25+ international radio, FM & podcast stations lately. We are here to revive the magical days of Black Radio to the global listening mass with great focus on diverse mainstream & independent Black music such as rock, reggae, jazz, soul, Hip-hop, house, funk & more- from all across the world,” stated DJ Fusion, the founder and one of the main presenters of FuseBox Radio Broadcast.

The other presenter of the show is Ausar Ra Black Hawk & together the duo formed FuseBox Media LLC in mid-2000s as a channel to expand the radio show & to work with other forms of media production, mixtape hosting, music production & more.

“We believe it’s our enriched fusion of best of black music with guest interviews, informed commentary & news – that has heightened the popularity of our show today.”

Over time, FuseBox Radio Broadcast has interviewed some of the most celebrated names from the world of politics, literature, music & more- including Cynthia McKinney, Pulitzer winner Douglas Blackmon, Emidio “Mimi” Soltysik, Kook Rock Ski, U-God, DJ Beverly Bond and so on. Starting with A Tribe Called Quest, the last episode of FuseBox Radio Broadcast featured a special interview of a lead organizer of Democracy Awakening, the much-championed Rachel Rye Butler.

“We are patronized by a robust audience niche (mostly between 18-55 years) from all across the globe that offers us around 5,000 to whooping 8,000 downloads per week minimum. Our show is downloaded by listeners from all the major countries such as America, Germany, Spain, Russia & Canada. Such a huge & diverse international audience base makes our widely popular show a highly potential space for sponsorship  (monetary, non-monetary and in-kind) & we are always looking out for organizations and people to interview – and prospective events to cover”, added in DJ Fusion.

The weekly show offers free subscription facility to listeners through various music & podcast RSS feeders such as iTunes, TuneIn Radio, Stitcher Radio, Player.FM, AudioSear.ch, PodBean & more.
