Flooring Centers in Mobile County, AL, are Helping Animals-in-Need Find Loving Homes

The Floor Trader Gulf Coast is helping local animal shelters with a series of donation drives. Affiliated flooring centers in Mobile County, AL, and Gautier and Gulfport, MS, are accepting donations so that animals are taken care of and can find new homes.

Local animal shelters are in need of supplies and support, and businesses throughout the community are leading the way to improve the lives of would-be pets. The Floor Trader Gulf Coast, a network of flooring centers in Mobile County, AL, and Gautier and Gulfport, MS, is on a mission to help animals through the “Dog Days of Summer.” This donation drive will allow members of the community to support animal shelters–and even make new, forever friends.

The Floor Trader Gulf Coast is partnering with the Humane Society of South Mississippi, the Jackson County Animal Shelter, and the Mobile SPCA. Their shared goal is to adopt out a record number of pets during the month of July. To accomplish this, The Floor Trader Gulf Coast is accepting donations and offering to cover the adoption fees for animals.

All three Floor Trader Gulf Coast locations–in Gautier and Gulfport, MS, and Mobile, AL–will collect various pet supplies from visitors. Requested supplies include pet food, toys, office supplies, bleach, and towels. Other needed supplies may also be accepted.

Volunteers who donate to any of the participating Floor Trader Gulf Coast locations will receive a discount on new flooring, and also an adoption certificate valued at $50.00. This certificate may be used to waive adoption fees at the Humane Society of South Mississippi, Jackson County Animal Shelter, and the Mobile SPCA.

The Floor Trader Gulf Coast has been partnering with animal shelters throughout the community for the past seven years, which illustrates their commitment to helping animals find loving homes.
