Flint Native, Launches Platform For Flint Water Crisis Victims

New Startup Life Line Me announced today that it is raising funds via a rewards / equity crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter to finish the development of their revolutionary donation platform. The company set out to raise $5000 on Kickstarter to finish development and produce the first batch of their latest invention that is going to change the donation technology market.

A Flint Michigan Native, Jasmine Rogers has launched a crowdfunding platform dedicated to her hometown. Life Line Me empowers residents to raise money for monthly bills during the ongoing water crisis. Flint residents can create a campaign need on the platform, giving people around the world a chance to aid them in reaching desired goals.

The Flint water crisis began in 2014 when the drinking water source for the city of Flint, Michigan was changed to the Flint River. Due to insufficient water treatment, over 100,000 residents were potentially exposed to high levels of lead in the drinking water.

This city still needs assistance both in the form of clean drinking water and direct funds to families in need. The platform does not charge any fees to its users and all funds raised pour back into Flint Michigan’s community.
